Recap: Citrus Hill Hawks vs. San Jacinto Tigers
The Citrus Hill Hawks suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against San Jacinto, falling 68-14. Citrus Hill was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-11.
San Jacinto's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luv'lee Sadler, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. Sadler is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Keyera Cameron, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds.
Citrus Hill has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for San Jacinto, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Citrus Hill will challenge Perris at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Perris is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for San Jacinto, they will head out on the road to challenge Tahquitz at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Tahquitz will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 601st, while San Jacinto is ranked 293rd).
