Gadsden has gone a perfect 10-0 against Alamogordo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Gadsden is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Mayfield just ended the team's seven-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Alamogordo came up short against Las Cruces on Tuesday, falling 7-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Alamogordo were already down 4-0.

Gadsden's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Alamogordo, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.

Gadsden took their victory against Alamogordo in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
