Baseball Game Preview: Paris Tigers vs. Neoga Indians

The Paris Tigers will square off against the Neoga Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Paris 4.1, Neoga 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Paris fell victim to Richland County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against Richland County, falling 10-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for Paris, who until this contest were averaging 4.09 runs allowed.

Meanwhile, Neoga entered their tilt with Woodlawn on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Cardinals.

Paris' defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-9. As for Neoga, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.

Paris skirted past Neoga 7-6 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
