Soccer Game Preview: Trinity Christian vs. Sandy Creek

The Trinity Christian Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Sandy Creek Patriots at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Trinity Christian took on Spalding on Friday. Trinity Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Spalding, sneaking past 1-0. That's two games straight that the Lions have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Sebastian Yapor, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Sandy Creek fell victim to Newnan and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 4-0. The loss was the Patriots' first of the season.

Trinity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Sandy Creek, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1.

Trinity Christian beat Sandy Creek 2-0 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trinity Christian since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
