Baseball Recap: Lewiston Takes a Loss

Lewiston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 12-0 to the Mt. Ararat Eagles. The Blue Devils were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Lewiston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Mt. Ararat, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewiston will welcome Oxford Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Mt. Ararat, they will host Hampden at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Broncos have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
