Soccer Recap: South Fork Comes Up Short at Home Against Mendocino + How To Watch

South Fork unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Mendocino Cardinals on Tuesday, falling 4-1. South Fork were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mendocino apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Mendocino's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

South Fork wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 6-1 loss against Fort Bragg on the 28th. As for Mendocino, they have also already played their next game, a 5-1 defeat against Tomales on the 29th.
