Soccer Recap: West Takes a Loss

West lost against Redondo Union back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The West Warriors lost 6-1 to the Redondo Union Sea Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 452nd, while the Sea Hawks are ranked 22nd).

West's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Redondo Union, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West will venture away from home to square off against North at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Redondo Union, they are taking a road trip to take on Palos Verdes at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
