Soccer Game Preview: Georgia Military College vs. Wheeler County

We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Georgia Military College comes in on seven and Wheeler County on four.

While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Georgia Military College who was credited with the victory on Tuesday. Georgia Military College got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to Lake Oconee Academy's six. The Bulldogs' winning goal came courtesy of Greyson Robbins.

On Tuesday, Wheeler County sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Hawkinsville.

Georgia Military College's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those five matchups. As for Wheeler County, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Everything went Georgia Military College's way against Wheeler County in their previous meeting back in February, as Georgia Military College made off with a 9-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Georgia Military College since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
