Softball Recap: Bishop Mcguinness' Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Bishop McGuinness came into Saturday's contest having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the MacArthur Highlanders with a sharp 10-2 victory on Saturday. Considering the Fighting Irish's hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Bishop McGuinness' win bumped their record up to 5-20. As for MacArthur, they dropped their record down to 7-14-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Bishop McGuinness wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-3 loss against Midwest City on the 20th. MacArthur has also already played their next match (against Putnam City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
