Hancock entered their tilt with Houghton on Saturday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Gremlins. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-7), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Hancock's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Houghton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Hancock wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-1 win against Jeffers on the 16th. As for Houghton, they will face off against Kingsford at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
