Recap: Dixon Rams vs. Casa Roble Rams
The Dixon Rams fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took down Casa Roble 44-26 on Wednesday. For Dixon, this counts as revenge for the 53-36 loss Casa Roble walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Casa Roble's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lydia Chechourka-Price, who scored six points. Savannah Sanders was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Dixon's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Casa Roble, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.
Dixon will head out on the road to face off against Mesa Verde at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Mesa Verde is ranked 873rd, while Dixon is ranked 889th). As for Casa Roble, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mira Loma at 7:00 p.m.
