After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Montezuma-Cortez, Basalt was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Battle Mountain Huskies 19-5. That's more bragging rights for the Longhorns, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Hadley Ivy was excellent, going 2-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. Elsie Mile was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
