Soccer Recap: Treynor Takes a Loss

Treynor lost against Lincoln back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cardinals came up short against the Lynx, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Treynor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while Lincoln are ranked 31st).

Treynor's loss dropped their record down to 4-1-2. As for Lincoln, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Treynor has already played their next game (against Creston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-0 win against Sioux City West on the 29th.
