Softball Recap: Bennington Wins Going Away Against Scottsbluff

Bennington lost to Scottsbluff back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Badgers were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Bearcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Badgers.

Hannah Wageman was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrienne Trebil, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Bennington always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Scottsbluff only posted an OBP of .136.

Bennington's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Bennington will head out on the road to take on Gretna on Tuesday. As for Scottsbluff, they will take on Southern Valley/Alma in a tournament on Saturday.
