West Rusk waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Grace Community Cougars by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

While West Rusk won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-12.

Kamyah Lacy paced West Rusk's offense, picking up ten kills. Lacy got some help from Kimora Pryor and her 27 assists.

The win got West Rusk back to even at 7-7. As for Grace Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

West Rusk wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Garrison on the 23rd. As for Grace Community, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Kilgore on the 23rd.
