Softball Recap: Chouteau-Mazie Beats Catoosa for Their Third Straight Victory

Chouteau-Mazie had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They never let the Catoosa Indians get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Chouteau-Mazie's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Catoosa, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Chouteau-Mazie will square off against Wilson-Henryetta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2.9, the Tigers 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Catoosa, they will venture away from home to square off against Miami at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
