Volleyball Recap: Nimitz Takes a Loss

If Nimitz was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of North Side on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Monterey Plainsmen on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Nimitz's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Monterey, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Coming up, Nimitz will face off against Village Tech at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Monterey, they will take on Bell in a tournament on Friday.
