Soccer Recap: Lakeside's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Lakeside was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Arabia Mountain last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Lakeside fell 3-1 to the Chamblee Bulldogs on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lakeside of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Lakeside's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-7. As for Chamblee, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Lakeside will challenge Chattahoochee at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chattahoochee will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lakeside surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chamblee, they will host Woodward Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
