Baseball Recap: Hackettstown Takes a Loss

After flying high against South Hunterdon on Friday, Hackettstown came back down to earth. The Tigers fell 11-8 to the New Providence Pioneers on Saturday.

Hackettstown's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7-1. As for New Providence, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.

Coming up, Hackettstown will take on Delaware Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers are on a five-game streak of home wins, the Terriers a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. As for New Providence, they will face off against Summit at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
