Soccer Game Preview: Anaheim vs. Kennedy

The Anaheim Colonists will head out to take on the Kennedy Fighting Irish at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anaheim's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Anaheim's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They had just enough and edged Calvary Chapel out 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Colonists were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Kennedy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Sentinels as they made off with a 4-0 victory. The Fighting Irish might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by four goals or more this season.

Anaheim's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2-3. As for Kennedy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1-3.
