Shade scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 66-50 bruising from the Ferndale Yellow Jackets. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Yellow Jackets recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ferndale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Deajah Chatman, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Abby Barley was another key player, putting up 15 points along with six boards and four steals.

Shade's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Ferndale, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Shade will be playing in front of their home fans against Fannett Metal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ferndale, they and Turkeyfoot Valley Area will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played.
