Basketball Recap: Lansdale Catholic Snags Ninth Win in Last 11 Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lansdale Catholic walked away with it. They snuck past Lancaster Catholic with a 52-48 win on Saturday. Given Lansdale Catholic's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while Lancaster Catholic is ranked 69th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lansdale Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.2 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Lancaster Catholic and nudges their season record down to 23-6.
