Football Game Preview: Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks vs. Greeley County Jackrabbits

The Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks will face off against the Greeley County Jackrabbits at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wheatland-Grinnell is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They were beaten by Dighton 58-14. The Thunderhawks were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Meanwhile, Greeley County played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 56-14 defeat at the hands of Logan/Palco. The Jackrabbits were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-8.

Although Greeley County took the loss, they still got scores from Rowdy Grubb and Santiago Mora.

Wheatland-Grinnell's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Greeley County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything went Wheatland-Grinnell's way against Greeley County when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Wheatland-Grinnell made off with a 36-14 victory.
