Football Recap: Holy Cross Takes a Loss

After soaring to 44 points the game before, Holy Cross was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were outmatched by the Riverside Vikings and fell 58-6. The Crusaders have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Holy Cross now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Riverside, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Holy Cross will host Old Forge at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Blue Devils will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Riverside, they are taking a road trip to challenge Carbondale Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
