Basketball Recap: New Brighton Comes Up Short

They were dealt a 64-4 loss at the hands of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

New Brighton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, their win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-2.

New Brighton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, they will take on Mohawk Area at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Mohawk Area likes a good challenge.
