Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Washington on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Wyandotte out of the water with a 70-0 final score. Fans of the Wildcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.
Schlagle better keep an eye on Savion Stone. Those 337 passing yards gave Stone a new career-high. Camron Fields was another key player, picking up 129 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Washington was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 230 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 154 rushing yards in ten consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Washington, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Darreon Baskin, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

The upcoming contest will be a clash of competing strengths. Schlagle has deployed a run-first offense that has averaged 161.2 rushing yards a game. Meanwhile, Washington has preferred to attack from the air: they average 287.5 passing yards per game. So which strategy will prevail on Friday? There's only one way to find out.
