Softball Recap: West Platte Bluejays vs. Plattsburg Tigers
West Platte barely beat Plattsburg the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bluejays put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 8-2 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Bluejays, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Sophie Grier made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in October of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs.
