Orestimba skates past Linden with ease

Recap: Orestimba Warriors vs. Linden Lions

The Orestimba Warriors waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with nine straight wins but they left with ten. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Linden 43-13 at home. Orestimba has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Orestimba to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaelin Stevens, who scored 14 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stevens has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Mia Quevedo, who scored three points along with ten steals and seven rebounds.

Orestimba is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Linden, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-22.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orestimba will challenge Mariposa County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Linden, they will head out on the road to take on Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin is on a six-game streak of home losses, Linden a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
