Baseball Recap: Purdue Polytechnic Techies vs. Warren Central Warriors
After flying high against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial on Saturday, Purdue Polytechnic came back down to earth. The Techies lost 14-2 to the Warren Central Warriors on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 back in April.
Purdue Polytechnic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nevan Jeffers, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.
Purdue Polytechnic's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Warren Central, they pushed their record up to 9-14 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
The teams wasted no time getting back out on the field as they've already faced off again: they played to a 8-8 draw on Thursday.
