McEachern won against Paulding County  on Wednesday with nine  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Friday. Everything went the Indians' way against the New Manchester Jaguar as they made off with  a  9-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 14 matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Josiah Hatchett looked comfortable as he  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, McEachern let  Tyce Williams and  Alijah Asad run wild. Williams  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double, while  Asad  went 1-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  Asad has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alex Wilbanks, who  earned one  RBI, two  runs,  and two  stolen bases.
McEachern has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for New Manchester, they dropped their record down to 7-16 with the  loss, which was their seventh straight  at home.
 McEachern and New Manchester are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Indians will head out on the road to  face off against  Newton  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something McEachern surely won't give up without a fight. As for New Manchester, they will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against Lithia Springs  at 1:00  p.m. The Jaguar are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on  a  14-game losing streak.
