Sawyer Nelson Game Report: vs Mountainside

Sawyer Nelson put up the most runs he's had since back in April on Monday. He went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Mountainside back in May of 2025, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

Nelson and South Salem will square off against South Medford at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Saxons got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Panthers thanks in part to Nelson: he went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
