Soccer Game Preview: Corona vs. Roosevelt

Corona hasn't had much luck against Roosevelt recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Corona Panthers will be playing at home against the Roosevelt Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Corona is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Centennial. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 430th, while the Huskies are ranked 208th).

Roosevelt, on the other hand, haven't lost since January 7th and they too continued that trend. They and Norco finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw on Thursday.

Corona's loss dropped their record down to 7-10-3. With that draw, Roosevelt's record moves to 14-3-7.
