Soccer Game Preview: Dawson County vs. Chestatee

The Dawson County Tigers will challenge the Chestatee War Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dawson County will be strutting in after a win while Chestatee will be coming in after a defeat.

While Dawson County's victory against North Hall wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Dawson County had just enough and edged out North Hall 2-1. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Chestatee was not quite Greater Atlanta Christian's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 1-0. The War Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Dawson County's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4. As for Chestatee, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.

Dawson County might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Chestatee in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Dawson County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
