Soccer Recap: Western Christian Sets Scoring Season-High Against Missouri Valley

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western Christian). They never let the Missouri Valley Big Reds get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Tuesday. Given Western Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 74th, while Missouri Valley are ranked 217th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Western Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four contests. As for Missouri Valley, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Looking ahead, Western Christian will venture away from home to face off against Unity Christian on Tuesday. Missouri Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
