Softball Recap: Johnson County Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Johnson County can now relate to. They fell just short of the Bryan County Redskins by a score of 5-4 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 on Monday.

Johnson County's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-15. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 2.75 runs. As for Bryan County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Johnson County nor Bryan County have any future games scheduled.
