Maize found a leader in Brayden Myovela as the team took down Valley Center on Friday. Myovela turned in his biggest game of the season, rushing for 154 yards and two scores on only seven carries, while also throwing for 153 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. His longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Looking ahead, Myovela and Maize will challenge South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
