Soccer Recap: Douglas County Takes a Loss

Douglas County managed to keep up with Alexander until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Douglas County Tigers came up short against the Alexander Cougars, falling 3-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Douglas County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Alexander, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Douglas County challenge Chapel Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Douglas County's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Alexander, they will welcome Kennesaw Mountain at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
