Soccer Recap: Windward Wins Going Away Against Archer School for Girls

On SaturdayArcher School for Girls kept up with Windward until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The Windward Wildcats never let the Archer School for Girls Panthers onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. That three goal margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Kennedy Richard and Ranya Toubassy scored all three of Windward's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Windward pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Archer School for Girls, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Windward will be home for the holidays to greet Oakwood at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Oakwood will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Windward surely won't give up without a fight. As for Archer School for Girls, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brentwood School at 3:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Brentwood School's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
