Softball Recap: Colcord Comes Up Short at Home Against Adair

Colcord unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Adair Warriors on Thursday, falling 8-2. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Brooklyn Spencer made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Coming up, Colcord will face off against Welch at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Adair, they will take on Salina at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
