Softball Game Preview: Norman North Timberwolves vs. Tuttle Tigers

The Norman North Timberwolves will face off against the Tuttle Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither Norman North nor Tuttle posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Norman North's offense. They fell 5-0 to Choctaw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Tuttle didn't have quite enough to beat Jenks on Saturday and fell 3-2.

Chesnee Monroe was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Norman North has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-14 record this season. As for Tuttle, their defeat dropped their record down to 27-6.

Norman North couldn't quite get it done against Tuttle in their previous meeting back in September of 2022 as they fell 5-0. Can the Timberwolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
