Soccer Recap: Lanier Takes a Loss

Lanier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to the Roswell Hornets.

Denir Fazlic and Deen Saracevic scored both of Lanier's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Lanier's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Roswell, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Lanier wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-1 win against Gainesville on the 25th. As for Roswell, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Walton on the 28th.
