Basketball Recap: Garces Memorial Comes Up Short

Garces Memorial has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tehachapi Warriors. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 66-50.

Garces Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Tehachapi, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Garces Memorial won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Arvin at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tehachapi, they will challenge Calaveras at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
