Football Game Preview: Legacy Academy Silverbacks vs. Estancia Bears

The Legacy Academy Silverbacks will head out on the road to face off against the Estancia Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Legacy Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

Legacy Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Capitan, posting a 48-6 win. The Silverbacks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 39 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Estancia's offense. They were beaten by Santa Rosa 47-0 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 38 points in the game before, the Bears' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Legacy Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Estancia, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Everything came up roses for Legacy Academy against Estancia in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 42-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Silverbacks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
