Flour Bluff had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Katy Taylor Mustangs.

Alyssa Thornton paced Flour Bluff's offense, picking up nine kills. Thornton got some help from Lola Fisher and her 16 assists. Kate Croft controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Flour Bluff's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Katy Taylor, they moved to 9-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
