Softball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

The Central Lions came up short against the Effingham County Rebels on Saturday and fell 4-1. That's two games in a row now that the Lions have lost by exactly three runs.

Central has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season. As for Effingham County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Central's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lee County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Effingham County, they will venture away from home to take on Lakeside at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
