Softball Recap: Harlan Takes a Loss

Harlan's last matchup with Kuemper could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Saturday. The Cyclones lost 15-0 to the Knights. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Cyclones' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Harlan's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Kuemper, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-10.

Coming up, Harlan is taking a road trip to face off against Red Oak at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cyclones are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on an 18-game losing streak. As for Kuemper, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 14-6 defeat against Treynor on the 28th.
