Omaha Westside took down Waverly on Saturday, a win that might not have happened without Hannah Miller's standout performance. Miller wasn't messing around, striking out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was her third straight with seven or more strikeouts.

Looking ahead, Miller and Omaha Westside are headed away from home for the first time to take on Columbus at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
