Football Recap: Muskogee Takes a Loss

Muskogee was the 57-7 winner over Sapulpa when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Roughers were dealt a 49-16 loss at the hands of the Chieftains on Friday. The Roughers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Muskogee now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Sapulpa, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Muskogee is set to face off against their familiar foe Putnam City North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sapulpa will square off against rival Charles Page at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
