With a playoff win on the line, Calvary Day rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Providence Christian Academy Storm 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Cavaliers as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Calvary Day's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Sam Renshaw, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Calvary Day's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Providence Christian Academy, they moved to 30-6 with that loss, which also ended their 22-game winning streak.

Calvary Day will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Storm: the pair will be back at it again later today.
