Everything went their way against the East Union Eagles on Monday as they made off with a 14-7 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cardinals as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.
Central Decatur's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for East Union, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
Central Decatur wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-3 loss against Martensdale-St. Mary's on the 1st. As for East Union, they will take on West Central Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
